Diesel engines power the world and serve mankind well. Using petroleum based fuels will soon be impossible. We need to spend time developing plants that help humankind in indirect ways as well as direct ways! Fear mongering the immorality of the developing scientists is not helping. These people are not out to poison us! They do not want to go down in infamy ! They are simply using the tools at hand to solve current problems! The population will limit itself by the amount of food available, it always has! The American population will soon relinqush huge amounts of food currently used in over-eating, because the great republican depression will hit them the hardest and first! The immoral practice of turning good human food into fuel for cars in the U.S. will be curtailed by hunger in their own country - The great republican depression will have many positive effects for others in the world! Americans will no longer be able to pay for huge oppresive military actions in the world, thus saving not only resources of the world but improving morale for us all!
