DreamCar123 - The Future, Sort of

There is a wide range of first impressions that come with first viewing the Dream Car 123 by Greg Zanis.

“WTF?” is definitely one that comes to mind for many.  Once you get past the odd design, the odd design, and then the odd design, you come to realize that this might not be far off from a normal fixture on future roads of the world.

First and foremost, the energy efficiency of the vehicle is beyond question.  For around $5 worth of electicity plugged in for for 3.5 hours, the Dream Car will go up to 240 miles.  To put that into perspective, it’s about 1/6th of the price of taking a standard hybrid car that far.

As you can see, there are some other things about the car that are a little out of the ordinary:

Frame and Battery

With the ability to put 15 batteries in each compartment, it has a range that goes beyond most electric cars.  It has 4 motors running at the same time.  Once you achieve 50-70 miles per hour, the front two motors turn off and it cruises on the back motors only.  Perhaps more unique - it doesn’t need brakes.  It stops through the motors itself.

Driving at Night

There’s definitely no way to miss it.  If anything, it will help get through traffic because most people will get the heck out of the way.

Solar Turbine Garage

How many cars do you know that have their own garage and charging unit that collects both solar and wind energy?

In the end, what does this really mean?  There are drawbacks (beyond the obvious) such as trunk space, passenger space, and cup-holders, but let’s look at the real beauty of it.  $16,000-$24,000.  With a price-tag like that, people can afford to get them a family style or travelling vehicle to park in the garage while commuting in the Dream Car 123.  It could happen!

Do you use the normal trackbacks or you use any specialised plugins? I been getting a lot of trackbacks for my sites from unrelated websites so just wondering
